How long can you keep all of this up and still maintain some level of sanity?
Take a breath. I’ve been there too, and want you to know that it gets better! It may seem like moving mountains in the beginning, but together, we can work to meet your goals. As an experienced registered nurse and internationally board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), I've helped over a thousand families to navigate the challenges of the newborn period. It's my passion! I offer telehealth and in-person consultations (for families in select zip codes in DC, MD, VA) to assist you in your lactation journey at no cost to you*. Whether still pregnant and seeking education or your sweet baby is already here, I am dedicated to providing you with expert care so that you feel confident in feeding your little one.

About Me
Hi! I’m Shanelle, your trusted partner in care. I have been working with breastfeeding families for several years, in both hospital and outpatient settings as a registered nurse (RN) and internationally board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC).
I help families with challenges with breastfeeding and using the breast pump, provide guidance on a range of topics (sleep, returning to work, starting solids, weaning, etc.), and provide general education about infant development.
I am happy to meet families where they are and draw from my professional and personal experiences as a mother in my work.
I believe in the power of positivity and have seen how it can be transformative during challenging periods.

I believe in normalizing breastfeeding in public but support all families in their preferences!
